This is the about page where I'm supposed to bore you with a bunch of stuff. Instead of doing that(not on this panel at least), I want to thank you, the reader, for being here and following along on this journey. The journey of a writer is one shrouded in passion and a lot of times, loneliness and mental exhaustion. That could be said for the human journey in general. To help us all through those tough days is why I write and create these characters. Thank you from the bottom of my cold, black hole of a heart :)
My Story
My name is Shadrick Holloway. I am an Author, Poet, Gamer, and technology enthusiast. I have been writing poetry for about 11 years now. Nothing crazy, just privately writing my thoughts. It wasn't until just recently that I started taking writing seriously.

I was Born on August 2, 1992. I grew up in Jackson, Ms. While growing up I really enjoyed Dragonball Z and other cartoons. I actually wanted to be a cartoonist and make my own comic book characters. I used to draw hand made comic books and everyone in my class would want to read them. I've always had a vivid imagination. Writing a book is just putting a story with characters together without the drawing. I am not into drawing as much now but, I would still like to get back into cartoon-making eventually. Maybe make a cartoon series out of my books. Who knows.
Writing stories was very therapeutic for me. With so much going on in the world, it can become very discouraging. It's frustrating that we as humans cannot treat each other with respect and value other lives. Along with just my imagination of how I think the things we can't see are, I started writing an exaggerated world that allows me to immerse myself in it and just get away for a while.

My mission is simple. Change the world for the better, one word at a time. Through my savior Jesus Christ, I will see to it to fulfill this purpose and leave behind a legacy that my family and friends can be proud of. Welcome to the Book of Shad. Enjoy the story.
